When you first see this home's sunny yellow door peek around the curved road as you approach, you realize this four-bedroom cape is a special place for any vacationer. Whether you just need to get away from life's frenetic pace, be inspired by beauty and nature, spend time with people you love, make cherished memories, or all of the above, this charming, spacious retreat will exceed your expectations.

A short three- minute walk to a private beach adjacent to the town's public Breakwater Beach, this charming home with old-world details boasts modern and beautiful amenities including a large, fully equipped kitchen with brand new appliances, a large dining room with maple table, a vaulted living room with 58-inch TV, stunning wide plank pine floors, and a screened-in porch to relax, read a book, or hold family game night.  First floor also includes two bedrooms--one with queen size bed and one with two twins. Second floor has a large bedroom with king size bed, reading nook, and exposed brick chimney. The second upstairs bedroom has three XL twin beds. There's a half bath upstairs as well.

The private bay beach offers warm water, soft sand, gentle surf, stunning sunsets, and awe-inspiring views of the ever-changing landscape as the tide ebbs and flows. At low tide enjoy walking the flats over a mile from shore. At high tide enjoy kayaking, paddle boarding, and swimming in the clear water. Part of this home's appeal is its "country road" setting and the ability to easily walk to many popular Brewster destinations. The Brewster Store is just up the street, the perfect spot to grab the paper and a coffee as well as let the kids choose penny candy and unique toys in this charming, landmark general store. Grab some ice cream right next door at the Brewster Scoop. Treat yourself to a delicious dinner at Spinnaker, one of the top restaurants on the Cape. Take in the nightly live music at the Woodshed. Grab a drink there, too, or next door at the Chowder House. The library is right around the corner if you run out of books to read or need a diversion for the kids. There are plenty of other activities in Brewster such as riding bikes on the Cape Cod Rail Trail, fishing, hiking, exploring the 1,900 acre Nickerson State Park, grabbing delicious coffee at the Snowy Owl, catching a Brewster Whitecaps baseball game, walking the John Wing trail, checking out the Cape Cod Museum of National History, grabbing amazing pizza at Stone L'Oven, or mini golfing at Harbor Lights.

You're sure to fall in love with 186 Breakwater, its proximity to the bay, and walkability to so many appealing Brewster destinations. Come enjoy the pastoral setting with abundant perennials, hydrangeas, rock walls, and manicured backyard lawn, perfect for throwing a football or tossing a frisbee. The property also features six window AC units, one for each of the four bedrooms plus one each for the dining area and family room, There's also a washer and dryer, gas grill, enclosed outdoor shower, 1.5 baths, pack-and-play, ping pong table, movies, and plenty of board games. No need to pack all of your linens. They're included, too! And the beds will be made when you arrive. Spend some time unwinding at 186 Breakwater and start a family tradition that you’ll look forward to all year.
