Perched above the Oyster River with sweeping views of Stage Harbor Lighthouse, Monomoy and the open Atlantic beyond, “About Time” delivers one of the best compositional water views on Cape Cod. Just down the hill is the Oyster River which feeds out to Stage Harbor and Nantucket Sound beyond. The private beach along this stretch is great for kayaking. A three minute walk takes you to the iconic Chatham Oyster Shacks, right on the aptly named Oyster River. Pick up your seafood on foot for the evening! Have a boat? You can park it and launch it at the town landing at the bottom of the street. From here you have easy access by boat to Monomoy Island and other Nantucket Sound destinations.
Back at the house, you’ll find comfortable accommodations for all. On the main level you have a fully equipped kitchen, featuring a wet bar/prep sink with a handy wine fridge. The kitchen flows into the appealing dining room, which, in turn, spills out onto the patio and the mesmerizing water views. There’s the main living room along with a den to round out the common living area on the main level, each with a stunning water view back drop. There’s a half bath off the kitchen.
The primary bedroom is located on the main level and offers a King size bed and private full bathroom. The second bedroom on the main level houses two twin beds and there is also an adjacent full bathroom. The house is spacious at over 3400 sq. feet.
Upstairs you’ll find two additional bedrooms: one with a Queen and one with two twins, both with spectacular views. There is a shared full bath upstairs. All of the bedrooms are cooled with in-wall AC split units.
The house is set on a hill facing the water, but does have a flat non irrigated yard area on the other side for games and lounging. There’s also a good-sized deck with an umbrella shaded dining table, gas grill and an outdoor shower. Pets are considered for multi-week rentals! The house is, of course, equipped with high speed Wi-Fi and a Smart TV.
Have a larger group? Just down the hill abutting this property is the “Plum Daffy” water front cottage with two additional bedrooms and sleeping for up to four.

As is customary in vacation rentals there are additional fees to the rates listed. Those fees include a reservation fee and a non-refundable Accidental Damage Protection (ADP) fee totaling $195. In addition, there are state and local taxes applied to all reservations less than 31 days in length that total 14.45%.
